Mihka Chee is a Māori, Chinese and Pākehā multi-instrumentalist from Aotearoa who joined her first punk band at 13, breaking away from classical violin and piano roots. With pop-rock outfit Ivy Lies, she hit the NZ charts and earned emerging artist awards with a Los Angeles-recorded album. Now based in Australia, Mihka’s solo work has featured on Double J, FBi Radio, FUEL TV’s Surfing Life: Board Bible, Apple Music playlists, and international radio. Her forthcoming EP delivers a fierce fusion of 90s rock, punk energy, pop sensibility and orchestral strength with players from the Sydney Symphony Orchestra.
